I'm sure, by now, most people have heard how the FBI misused the (Un)patriot Act to illegally spy on Americans. Why does this not surprise me in the least. The current administration will do anything, legal or not, to advance their agenda. The bushivics have trashed our country and the Constitution. Should we continue to tolerate these law breaking, under-handed liars who run this country? They are beginning to make the nixon administration look good.
I needed to get this off my chest.

This administration is setting so many autocratic precedents that it is truly scary. And it's not just a matter of getting the Republicans out. The next president, regardless of party affiliation, could easily continue the agenda of concentrating power into the hands of a chosen few, and moving ever closer to the day when laws are simply a minor inconvenience to their rule.
Let's hope the next President is more interested in protecting the rule of law and preserving the Constitution than they are in centralizing power for themselves and their cronies. We have seen, in the last six years, what a disaster that has been.
